Pete McSloy is a writer and musician.  He lives in Manchester, England, and Piazza Armerina, Sicily.  As a singer and pianist, he performs his own original songs and compositions with groups consisting of some of the best jazz musicians in the north of England.  His lyrics range from romanticism to cynicism, often with humour, and the musical styles include straightahead jazz, blues, funk and bossa.  A published writer, he has performed his work in literature festivals and poetry venues and on radio in Britain and the US.
